He was with us on a short notice and work tirelessly to help us find the right home. "WE LOVE IT." He made sure that we've fully understood the process of home buying in's and out. When it came to negotiation on the purchase of our home we've got a great deal. We would call, text or email him and he was there with an answer, but if he wasn't he made sure that we got the right answer. I have been in my house for a year now, throughout this process he has checked in on us right after we moved in, during the holidays ( also with cards) and just because to see how's everything is moving alone. James took care of me and my family on our first home purchase. Took the time to find us our home in a trying time and under my discerning conditions. In a very important personal side note, James took a sincere interest in my two young children and made them feel included in the experience, a huge help to the wife and I. Once the property was found James went above and beyond. I had no idea what I was doing and so much of the verbiage in a transaction such as home buying is misleadingly complex. James explained everything and went as far as to fight the title company for me (went to office personally) I will not recommend anyone else with my friends and family, and I hope he is still available should I ever need a realtor again. We’ve recommended James Wedell to everyone we know who needs a realtor; simply because we wouldn’t dream of working with anyone else for our own home purchase/sale. When working with him, it becomes apparent that he knows his stuff and that he’s just an all around good guy. After hearing several horror stories from co-workers and friends who have had issues with their realtors, we feel extremely lucky to have found James. Others are complaining that their realtor doesn’t listen to them, gives them unrealistic opinions, in unreachable, or is advising them in the wrong direction. We don’t have those problems with James (quite the opposite); he’s reachable, personable, a good listener, and professional. We recently moved and James handled the sale and purchase process. Per his usual, he was informative and attentive. He wanted to know how aggressive we wanted to be and tailored his tactics to our goals. He showed us what the market was doing and gave us the good and bad news with equal professionalism; never misrepresenting the situation or pushing us to make decisions we weren’t comfortable with. He helped give us ideas to stage our home so that it would sell (it makes a HUGE difference!) and he was kind but honest about issues he saw in the house we were trying to sell and the homes we were looking at buying. We sold our home quite quickly (no sitting on the market for 100+ days like a lot of our neighbors) which helped us get the price we wanted. We LOVE our new home and we couldn’t have done it without him!
